About the House

North Shodoshima, Fuchizaki, Tonosho.On the road that climbs to Kankakeistands an old tea room with sukiya eaves.

The iron kettle, the green teapot, the blue-and-white cups —all still on the shelves, just as the former owner left them.Only the bathrooms and the bedroom were touched.

The noren goes up for one party a day.Tea room, garden, bath and futon,made ready for today's guest.
